Hot rolled steel sheets are pliable yet strong. The process used to form hot rolled steel means that it becomes malleable when hot. Mild steel is ultra-heated to 1000ºC and then passed through two heavy duty rollers, flattening it into sheets. The resulting product is sturdy and ductile and used in construction, car parts, blacksmithing and pipes to name a few.
